India Market Access

Government of India, directs mandatory use of Standard Mark under a License or Certificate of Conformity (CoC) from BIS through issuance of QCOs. Same is implemented accordingly to Scheme I/II/IV of ISO/IEC Guide 28, which outlines general rules for third-party certification systems determining conformity with product standards in the course of initial testing, assessment, and acceptance of factory quality management systems, followed by surveillance that takes into account factory and market samples. In addition to BIS, wireless/telecom products required to comply to WPC and TEC requirements as applicable.
