The achievement also marks a significant milestone for GRL’s USB Type-C® Power Delivery Tester and Analyzer (GRL-USB-PD-C2-EPR), which provided the advanced validation environment required to verify Rich Spectrum’s charger’s compliance with Quick Charge 5+ performance requirements. The subsequent compliance testing and certification process was carried out by GRL’s Qualcomm Technologies’ authorized test laboratories, underscoring GRL’s technical leadership with the latest Quick Charge charging requirements. By enabling Rich Spectrum’s charger to become the first product globally to achieve official Quick Charge 5+ certification, GRL has once again set a new benchmark for the fast-charging ecosystem.
Quick Charge 5+ represents the industry’s newest and advanced charging technology, offering 100W+ performance while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and battery life. Certifying the ability of a charger to charge a device from 0 to 50% in just five minutes, Quick Charge 5+ builds on Qualcomm Technologies’ legacy of innovation while enabling backwards compatibility across millions of existing devices and accessories.
