The Test Conditions of DisplayHDR 1.1 CTS Errata 2 Updates - 4×3 True Black Checkerboard

  • The main purpose of the Checkerboard test is to detect the active dimming ability of the backlight. Since True Black requires higher contrast, the dimming ability of Tconn or Scalar is particularly important at this time. They need to analyze the signal data to confirm the required brightness level of the backlight.
