Description

Developed by a recognized world leader in Thunderbolt and USB testing, GRL’s USB4® Version 2.0 PHY Microcontroller provides reliable communication and interoperability over the USB4® Version 2.0 platform to test your 80 Gbps hosts and devices to the USB4® Version 2.0 Gen 4 (Revision 0.9) standard. Enable validation of in-vehicle systems that rely on USB4® performance for critical infotainment, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and connected car applications. In addition, GRL-USB4V2-Controller also supports USB4® v1.0 Gen 3 & Gen 2 connectivity and data speeds.

GRL-USB4V2-Controller puts the DUT into the right state for USB4® testing when paired with the USB Type-C® passive cable and USB4® test fixture. GRL-USB4V2-Controller directly controls the DUT by executing microcontroller test scripts.

Our USB4® Version 2.0 microcontroller works seamlessly with USB4® receiver, transmitter and return loss automation solutions to automatically test any USB4® Gen 4, Gen 3 or Gen 2 host or device port(s). This means faster, more reliable testing of automotive-grade components for EV manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring robust connectivity across charging, infotainment, and digital cockpit ecosystems.
