Taiwan Market Access

Each model of regulated commodities must be registered with the competent authority by local suppliers. A type-test report issued by designated / recognised testing laboratories (local or foreign) is required for the registration of regulated commodities under the commodity inspection act and related regulations. Local suppliers shall submit the reports and specified documents to a designated commodity certification body for certification, which issues certificates of registration of product certification. Once the certificates are submitted to the competent authority, the certified regulated commodities can be registered in the database.
