About the role

We are seeking a motivated and highly qualified Office Manager who thrives in a fast paced and collaboration environment. This multi-faceted position is based at GRL’s new world headquarters in the heart of Silicon Valley, and offers excellent professional growth opportunities for the right candidate. This position reports to the GM of North America and works closely with the COO, CFO and other executives on North America and global matters. Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Management: oversee customer projects administration, supplies, and general day to day operation and organization of our headquarters facility.
  • Human Resources: Oversee all aspects of North America employee recruiting and retention including job postings, offer letters, immigration visas, health and benefits plans management, payroll, new employee onboarding, and team building events.
  • Facilities: Oversee all facility maintenance and repairs services, liaison to the landlord, and maintain the overall professional appearance of our global headquarters.
  • Financial: Support accounting team with customer invoicing, purchasing, bill payment and expenses management, quarterly filings, equipment lease administration.
  • Corporate Insurance: manage the sourcing and administration of all GRL local and global business insurance policies to ensure they are up to date with appropriate coverages.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • 5 – 10+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • 5+ years’ experience in human resources – preferably with SHRM certification
  • 5+ years’ experience in facility management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent PC and MS Office skills, and experience with cloud-based work collaboration tools (Teams, Box.com, etc). Strong spreadsheet skills a big plus.
  • Experience in accounting/bookkeeping with QuickBooks or similar accounting software a plus
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
  • Quick learner, adaptable, great attitude, and proactive
  • Mandarin Chinese language skills a plus
  • AA degree or higher degree and/or 10+ years’ experience.
