About the role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional with a strong background in the IoT (Internet of Things) domain or related technologies. The candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, owning end-to-end product releases, and serving as the primary interface with customers. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and delivery ownership.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 10+ engineers, ensuring effective execution, collaboration, and performance
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, representing team progress through daily interactions, weekly and monthly status reports, and review meetings
- Own and drive end-to-end release management, including:
- Apply strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to drive both internal and external teams efficiently
- Work closely with automation teams to define and drive CI/CD workflows using Jenkins, including:
- Provide technical guidance in Networking and IoT domains, applying out-of-the-box thinking to resolve complex technical and process challenges
- Oversee QA activities, including test plan reviews, defect management, and release readiness
- Manage GitHub repositories, including code reviews, branching strategies, and release handling
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the IoT domain or a closely related technology area
- Strong people management experience with 10+ direct or indirect reports
- Demonstrated ownership of product or software releases from planning to delivery
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and cross-functional coordination
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and test automation workflows
- Good knowledge of Networking concepts and IoT systems
- Experience with GitHub, QA processes, and release management practices
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills
