Overwhelming industry player response at our collaborative booth with Rohde & Schwarz underscored growing demand for automotive connectivity standards.
Granite River Labs (“GRL”), a global leader in engineering services, automated test solutions for digital connectivity and charging technologies, and professional market access services, joined forces with professional test and measurement instrument manufacturer Rohde & Schwarz (R&S) to present cutting-edge vehicle connectivity solutions at the recent 2025 Automotive Testing Expo, Shanghai.
Held from 27 to 29 August, the expo saw over 700 exhibitors and 5,000 attendees, reflecting rapidly rising demand for Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs). In particular, GRL and R&S collaboratively showcased its solutions in Automotive Ethernet, high-speed sensor interfaces, PCIe, USB, and CarPlay testing as part of a response to rising demand for infotainment and connectivity.
Cyan Chen, GRL’s APAC Automotive Connectivity Technical Director, discussed strategies for integrating 10Base-T1S, Multi-Gig Ethernet, and optical connectivity in next-generation in-vehicle networks. Visitors also expressed significant interest in GRL’s solutions for OpenGMSL Association, ASA, and MIPI C-PHY and D-PHY, highlighting the growing demand for advanced display and sensor connectivity testing.
“Automotive connectivity is becoming more complex as vehicles transition into software-defined platforms,” said Cyan Chen. “Through our collaboration with Rohde & Schwarz, GRL is committed to helping OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers address these challenges with robust test methodologies and future-ready solutions.”
