The LG UltraFine™ 40WT95UF has achieved Thunderbolt™ 5 certification through compliance testing conducted at GRL’s Authorized Test Center.

Granite River Labs (GRL), a global leader in engineering services, automated test solutions for digital connectivity and charging technologies, and professional market access services, supported the certification of the world’s first Thunderbolt™ 5 monitor, the LG UltraFine™ 40WT95UF. Compliance testing was conducted at GRL’s Thunderbolt Authorized Test Center in Taipei.

Thunderbolt™ 5, introduced by Intel in 2023, doubles the bandwidth of its predecessor to 80 Gbps of bi-directional bandwidth and enables peak speeds of up to 120 Gbps through Bandwidth Boost. The standard supports PCI Express® 4.0 and facilitates faster data transfer, multi-display setups, and simplified single-cable connectivity for video, data, and power.
